About Me

Demian Bulwa
I'm the deputy metro editor at the San Francisco Chronicle, where I joined the staff in 2000. I head up breaking news, web reporting for SFGate and law enforcement coverage after several years an a general assignment and investigative reporter. I've also written for the San Francisco Examiner, the Contra Costa Times, the Oakland Tribune, California Monthly, Legal Affairs and the Daily Beast. I grew up on the North Coast and now live in the East Bay with my wife and two daughters. This page is a collection of some of my favorite articles.
